Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York in the U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney came from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father was a writer. Her mother, Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. Then she earned an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. Her first appearance was on Broadway and was awarded awards for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
